The Middle Creek Mustangs basketball team (Apex, NC), was toppled 54-39 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Athens Drive Jaguars (Raleigh, NC)

The Jaguars now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Green Level for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 6. Athens Drive will confront a Gators team coming off a 45-43 non-league loss to Rolesville (Rolesville, NC). The Gators record now stands at 1-2.

The Mustangs (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Heritage (Wake Forest, NC). The Huskies come into the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Heritage was toppled by Broughton (Raleigh, NC), 39-30, in a non-league battle.
