December 2, 2022: Decatur, AL 35601 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Austin Black Bears (Decatur, AL) and the host Decatur Red Raiders (Decatur, AL), saw Austin's basketball squad knock off Decatur by a tally of 57-48.
With the victory, Austin improves its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Black Bears travel to Hartselle (Hartselle, AL) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 6-3. Hartselle won 59-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Springville (Springville, AL)
Next up, the Red Raiders play the Lawrence County Red Devils (Moulton, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 9. Decatur will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record.
