Arkansas High School Basketball - Bay trounces Walnut Ridge
December 2, 2022: Bay, AR 72411 The Bay Yellowjackets (Bay, AR) basketball crushed the visiting Walnut Ridge Bobcats (Walnut Ridge, AR), 66-36 in Friday's non-league test.
The Yellowjackets (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Riverside (Lake City, AR). The Rebels go into the 2A Region 3 test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Riverside was trounced by Salem (Salem, AR), 49-40, in a non-league test.
The Bobcats now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Mountain View for a 3A Region 2 test on Wednesday, December 7. Walnut Ridge will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 74-26 non-league win over Lead Hill (Lead Hill, AR). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-0.
