December 2, 2022: Abilene, TX 79606 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Bridgeport Bulls (Bridgeport, TX) and the host Wylie Bulldogs (Abilene, TX), saw Bridgeport's basketball squad hold off Wylie by a count of 40-38.
With the victory, Bridgeport upgrades its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Bulls travel to Godley (Godley, TX) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 3. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 7-2. Godley won 51-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Weatherford (Weatherford, TX)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the San Angelo Central Bobcats (San Angelo, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 6. Wylie will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 49-30 non-league loss to Fort Bend Austin (Sugar Land, TX).
