Texas High School Basketball - Burleson tops University
December 2, 2022: Burleson, TX 76028 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Burleson Elks (Burleson, TX) and the visiting University Trojans (Waco, TX), saw Burleson's basketball squad knock off University by a tally of 48-31.
With the victory, Burleson improves its record to 1-11 on the campaign. The Elks host Centennial (Frisco, TX) to play the Titans in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 2. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 8-4. Centennial won 40-27 in their recent non-league challenge against West Mesquite (Mesquite, TX)
Next up, the Trojans play the Everman Bulldogs (Everman, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 3. University will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 61-47 non-league loss to Princeton (Princeton, TX).
