Virginia High School Basketball - Great Bridge ripped by Indian River

December 2, 2022: Chesapeake, VA 23325

The Indian River Braves basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Great Bridge Wildcats to 38 in the Braves league triumph on Friday.

The Braves now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kecoughtan for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 3. Indian River will battle a Warriors team coming off a 63-50 league win over Heritage (Newport News, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-0.

The Wildcats (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Tallwood (Virginia Beach, VA). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Tallwood was routed by Bayside (Virginia Beach, VA), 63-32, in a league contest.
