California High School Basketball - Head-Royce nips San Rafael
December 2, 2022: San Rafael, CA 94901 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Head-Royce Jayhawks (Oakland, CA) and the host San Rafael Bulldogs (San Rafael, CA), saw Head-Royce's basketball squad hold off San Rafael by a count of 43-41.
With the victory, Head-Royce upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Jayhawks travel to Marin Academy (San Rafael, CA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 3. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Marin Academy won 56-20 in their recent non-league challenge against Roseland University Prep (Santa Rosa, CA)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Tamalpais Red Tailed Hawks (Mill Valley, CA) in a Marin County challenge, on Tuesday, December 6. San Rafael will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Red Tailed Hawks come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 50-26 non-league win over Benicia (Benicia, CA).
