Texas High School Basketball - Uvalde succumbs to Nixon
December 2, 2022: Uvalde, TX 78801 The Nixon Mustangs felled the host Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) basketball squad by a margin of 50-36 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Mustangs (11-8) will now prepare for their outing against United South (Laredo, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 10-2 record. In their last outing, United South thwarted Harlingen (Harlingen, TX), 50-33, in a non-league outing.
The Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Martin for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 3. Uvalde will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 49-47 non-league loss to Alice (Alice, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 6-7.
