The Carlisle Thundering Herd basketball team scored 23 points and held the host Shippensburg Greyhounds to 21 in the Thundering Herd non-league triumph on Friday.

The Thundering Herd now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northern York for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 3. Carlisle will battle a Polar Bears team coming off a 42-20 non-league loss to East Pennsboro (Enola, PA). The Polar Bears record now stands at 0-1.
