The Maiden Blue Devils basketball team scored 40 points and held the visiting West Iredell Warriors to 14 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Friday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hibriten for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6.

The Warriors (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
