Georgia High School Basketball - Upson-Lee tops Lamar County
December 2, 2022: Barnesville, GA 30204 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Upson-Lee Knights (Thomaston, GA) and the host Lamar County Trojans (Barnesville, GA), saw Upson-Lee's basketball squad knock off Lamar County by a tally of 61-48.
With the victory, Upson-Lee improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Knights host Carver (Columbus, GA) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 3. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Trojans play the Alcovy Tigers (Covington, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 8. Lamar County will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 76-63 non-league win over Eastside (Covington, GA).
