Illinois High School Basketball - Plainfield North fells Aurora East
December 2, 2023: Plainfield, IL 60585 Plainfield North Tigers (Plainfield, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Aurora East Tomcats (Aurora, IL), 74-54 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Plainfield North upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to Minooka (Minooka, IL) to play the Indians in a SouthWest Prairie bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Minooka lost 52-41 in their recent non-league bout against Stagg (Palos Hills, IL)
Next up, the Tomcats play the Elgin Maroons (Elgin, IL) in a Upstate Eight bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Aurora East will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Maroons go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 54-33 league loss to Fenton (Bensenville, IL).
