Ohio High School Basketball - Chillicothe can't hold off Bexley
December 2, 2023: Columbus, OH 43209 The Bexley Lions basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Chillicothe Cavaliers to 58 in the Lions non-league victory on Saturday.
The Lions now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Ready for a Central Catholic contest on Friday, December 8. Bexley will battle a Silver Knights team coming off a 77-72 non-league loss to Western Hills (Cincinnati, OH). The Silver Knights record now stands at 0-1.
The Cavaliers (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Miami Trace (Washington Courthouse, OH). The Panthers come into the Frontier contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Miami Trace was nudged by Unioto (Chillicothe, OH), 55-41, in a non-league contest.
