In Saturday's non-league match, the host Santa Paula Cardinals basketball team scored a tight 58-54 triumph over the Canyon Cowboys.

In their next game, the Cardinals meet the Nordhoff Rangers (Ojai, CA) in a Citrus Coast match, on Tuesday, December 5. Santa Paula will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Rangers enter the match with a 0-6 record after their 47-43 non-league loss to Bishop Diego (Santa Barbara, CA).
