Texas High School Basketball - Churchill knocked off by Dripping Springs
December 2, 2023: Dripping Springs, TX 78620 The Dripping Springs Tigers basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Churchill Chargers to 44 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Tigers now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bowie for a 6A Region IV District 26 contest on Tuesday, December 5. Dripping Springs will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 46-34 non-league win over Carter (Dallas, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-3.
The Chargers (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Madison (San Antonio, TX). The Mavericks enter the 6A Region IV District 28 contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Madison was outscored by Veterans Memorial (San Antonio, TX), 49-41, in a non-league contest.
