Iowa High School Basketball - Clear Creek-Amana knocked off by Iowa City
December 2, 2023: Tiffin, IA 52340 The Iowa City Little Hawks basketball team scored 74 points and held the host Clear Creek-Amana Clippers to 62 in the Little Hawks non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Little Hawks now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marion for a non-league contest on Monday, December 4. Iowa City will battle a Wolves team coming off a 70-61 non-league win over Washington (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Wolves record now stands at 2-0.
The Clippers (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Independence (Independence, IA). The Mustangs enter the WAMAC - West contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Independence was defeated by Vinton-Shellsburg (Vinton, IA), 84-74, in a league contest.
