Oregon High School Basketball - South Wasco County can't hold off Country Christian
December 2, 2023: Maupin, OR 97037 The Country Christian Cougars basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host South Wasco County Redsides to 49 in the Cougars non-league victory on Saturday.
The Cougars now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Colton for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Country Christian will battle a Vikings team coming off a 44-36 non-league win over Waldport (Waldport, OR). The Vikings record now stands at 2-0.
The Redsides (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Triangle Lake (Blachly, OR). The Lakers come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Triangle Lake was nudged by Waldport (Waldport, OR), 54-30, in a non-league contest.
