New Mexico High School Basketball - Monument Valley can't hold off Dulce
December 2, 2023: Dulce, NM 87528 The Dulce Hawks basketball team scored 29 points and restricted the visiting Monument Valley Cougars to 24 in the Hawks non-league victory on Saturday.
The Hawks now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Penasco for a non-league contest on Monday, December 4. Dulce will battle a Panthers team coming off a 70-32 non-league loss to Academy for Technology and The Classics (Santa Fe, NM). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.
The Cougars (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Piute (Junction, UT). The Thunderbirds come into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Piute edged Tintic (Eureka, UT), 61-55, in a non-league contest.
