Math Civics & Sciences Mighty Elephants (Philadelphia, PA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Eagle Academy II Eagle (Brooklyn, NY), 55-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Math Civics & Sciences upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Mighty Elephants travel to Chester (Chester, PA) to play the Clippers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Clippers go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Chester won 54-47 in their recent non-league bout against Abraham Lincoln (Philadelphia, PA)

Next up, the Eagle play the St. Francis Prep Terriers (Fresh Meadows, NY) in a non-league bout, on Sunday, December 3. Eagle Academy II will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Terriers go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 66-44 non-league win over Stevenson (Bronx, NY).
