The Fountain Lake Cobras (Hot Springs National Park, AR) basketball nipped the host Mt. Vernon-Enola Warhawks (Mt. Vernon, AR), 58-51 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Cobras (8-1) will now prepare for their test against Mena (Mena, AR). The Bearcats go into the 4A Region 4 test with a 1-2 record.

The Warhawks now own a 13-3 record. They play next when they travel to White County Central for a 2A Region 2 test on Tuesday, December 5. Mt. Vernon-Enola will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 68-46 league win over South Side (Bee Branch, AR). The Bears record now stands at 9-6.
