December 2, 2023: Murrells Inlet, SC 29576 The St. James Sharks (Murrells Inlet, SC) basketball nipped the visiting Georgetown Bulldogs (Georgetown, SC), 41-36 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Sharks (3-0) will now prepare for their test against Myrtle Beach (Myrtle Beach, SC). The Seahawks go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Myrtle Beach was tipped by Conway (Conway, SC), 47-28, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Andrews for a non-league test on Friday, December 8. Georgetown will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 70-43 non-league loss to Cane Bay (Summerville, SC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-2.
