The Jay Mustangs basketball team scored 80 points and held the host Southwest Dragons to 75 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Mustangs now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host O'Connor for a 6A Region IV District 29 contest on Tuesday, December 5. Jay will meet a Panthers team coming off a 66-42 non-league loss to Clear Springs (League City, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 9-5.

The Dragons (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against Davenport (San Antonio, TX). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 8-1 record. In their last contest, Davenport nudged Non Varsity Tournament Opponent (, ), 65-52, in a non-league contest.
