John Marshall Justices (Richmond, VA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Richmond Raiders (Rockingham, NC), 84-78 in a non-league bout.

With the win, John Marshall upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Justices host Steward (Richmond, VA) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Steward won 62-58 in their recent non-league bout against Monacan (Richmond, VA)

Next up, the Raiders play the Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) in a 3A/4A Sandhills bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Richmond will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 62-47 non-league win over Overhills (Spring Lake, NC).
