December 2, 2023: Cumming, GA 30040 The West Forsyth Wolverines (Cumming, GA) basketball nipped the visiting Lanier Longhorns (Sugar Hill, GA), 63-57 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Wolverines (5-1) will now prepare for their test against South Forsyth (Cumming, GA). The War Eagles go into the AAAAAAA Region 6 test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, South Forsyth was tipped by Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA), 67-35, in a non-league test.
The Longhorns now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to South Forsyth for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 5. Lanier will encounter a War Eagles squad coming off a 71-56 non-league win over Roswell (Roswell, GA). The War Eagles record now stands at 3-4.
