California High School Basketball - Loyalton thwarts Trinity

The Loyalton Grizzlies (Loyalton, CA) basketball knocked off the host Trinity Wolves (Weaverville, CA), 53-42 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Grizzlies (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Princeton (Princeton, CA). The Eagles go into the Pioneer test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Princeton notched a victory over CORE Butte (Chico, CA), 71-43, in a non-league test.

The Wolves now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Los Molinos for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 5. Trinity will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 63-55 non-league loss to Paradise (Paradise, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-3.
