Illinois High School Basketball - Westinghouse nips Stevenson
December 2, 2023: Lincolnshire, IL 60069 Westinghouse Warriors (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Stevenson Patriots (Lincolnshire, IL), 59-56 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Westinghouse upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Warriors host Clark (Chicago, IL) to play the Eagles in a Chicago Public - Red Northwest bout on Wednesday, December 6. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-1.
Next up, the Patriots play the Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL) in a North Suburban bout, on Wednesday, December 6. Stevenson will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 71-60 league win over Waukegan (Waukegan, IL).
