December 2, 2023: Little Rock, AR 72205 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Arkansas School for the Deaf Leopards (Little Rock, AR) and the visiting Washington School for the Deaf Terriers (Vancouver, WA), saw Arkansas School for the Deaf's basketball squad overcome Washington School for the Deaf by a tally of 39-19.
With the victory, Arkansas School for the Deaf improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Leopards travel to Scranton (Scranton, AR) to confront the Rockets in a 1A Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Rockets come into the challenge with a record of 8-3. Scranton lost 53-41 in their recent league challenge against Sacred Heart (Morrilton, AR)
Next up, the Terriers confront the Naselle Comets (Naselle, WA) in a 1B Columbia Valley challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Washington School for the Deaf will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Comets come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 40-38 non-league win over Ocosta (Westport, WA).
