Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lometa Hornets (Lometa, TX) and the visiting Blanket Tigers (Blanket, TX), saw Lometa's basketball squad knock off Blanket by a count of 39-21.

With the victory, Lometa upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Hornets host Llano (Llano, TX) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 16. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 4-12.
