The Cougars now possess a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cross County for a 2A Region 3 battle on Monday, December 4. Rector will battle a Thunderbirds team coming off a 53-44 league loss to Earle (Earle, AR). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 4-4.
The Panthers (1-7) will now prepare for their battle against Waldron (Waldron, AR). The Bulldogs come into the 4A Region 4 battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Waldron beat Ozark Catholic Academy (Springdale, AR), 58-53, in a non-league battle.
