Texas High School Basketball - Flour Bluff nips Georgetown
December 2, 2023: Georgetown, TX 78626 Flour Bluff Hornets (Corpus Christi, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Georgetown Eagles (Georgetown, TX), 44-38 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Flour Bluff upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Hornets travel to Glenn (Leander, TX) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 11-1. Glenn won 58-53 in their recent non-league bout against Chaparral (Killeen, TX)
Next up, the Eagles play the East View Patriots (Georgetown, TX) in a 5A Region III District 23 bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Georgetown will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 3-13 record after their 44-35 non-league loss to Temple (Temple, TX).
