Louisiana High School Basketball - Southern Lab crushes Franklin Parish
December 2, 2023: Baton Rouge, LA 70813 Southern Lab Kittens (Baton Rouge, LA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Franklin Parish Patriots (Winnsboro, LA), 64-40 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Southern Lab upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Kittens travel to Opelousas (Opelousas, LA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Opelousas won 59-39 in their recent non-league bout against Marksville (Marksville, LA)
Next up, the Patriots play the West Monroe Rebels (West Monroe, LA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 6. Franklin Parish will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 48-40 non-league win over Richwood (Monroe, LA).
