December 2, 2023: Uniontown, PA 15401 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Laurel Highlands Mustangs (Uniontown, PA) basketball squad felled the visiting Franklin Regional Panthers (Murrysville, PA), by a margin of 50-38.
The Mustangs (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Brownsville (Brownsville, PA). The Falcons enter the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Brownsville overcame Bentworth (Bentleyville, PA), 67-22, in a non-league match.
With the defeat, Franklin Regional moves to 0-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to Taylor Allderdice (Pittsburgh, PA) to meet the Dragons in a non-league match on Saturday, December 2. The Dragons enter the match with a record of 0-1. Taylor Allderdice lost 52-36 in their recent non-league match against Laurel Highlands (Uniontown, PA)
