December 2, 2023: Greensburg, PA 15601 The Taylor Allderdice Dragons basketball team (Pittsburgh, PA), was overwhelmed 68-37 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Hempfield Area Spartans (Greensburg, PA)
The Spartans now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Penn-Trafford for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 7. Hempfield Area will confront a Warriors team coming off a 46-37 non-league loss to Norwin (North Huntingdon, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-1.
The Dragons (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Franklin Regional (Murrysville, PA). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Franklin Regional was overwhelmed by Hempfield Area (Greensburg, PA), 62-56, in a non-league battle.
