Minnesota High School Basketball - Hermantown overwhelms Irondale
December 2, 2023: New Brighton, MN 55112 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Hermantown Hawks (Hermantown, MN) and the host Irondale Knights (New Brighton, MN), saw Hermantown's basketball squad wallop Irondale by a tally of 46-0.
With the victory, Hermantown improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Proctor (Proctor, MN) to confront the Rails in a AA Section 7 challenge on Thursday, December 7. The Rails come into the challenge with a record of 0-2.
Next up, the Knights confront the Mounds View Mustangs (Arden Hills, MN) in a AAAA Section 5 challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Irondale will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 68-46 non-league win over Robbinsdale Armstrong (Plymouth, MN).
