Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Avonworth nips Aquinas Academy
December 2, 2024: Pittsburgh, PA 15237 In Monday's non-league contest, the host Avonworth Antelopes basketball team scored a close 89-82 triumph over the Aquinas Academy Crusaders.
The Antelopes (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Seneca Valley (Harmony, PA). The Raiders go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Seneca Valley was tipped by Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA), 56-40, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Crusaders battle the Leechburg Blue Devils (Leechburg, PA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, December 4. Aquinas Academy will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Blue Devils go into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 54-39 non-league loss to St. Joseph (Natrona Heights, PA).
