Illinois High School Basketball - Rochelle Zell Jewish holds off Elmwood Park
December 2, 2024: Deerfield, IL 60015 In Monday's non-league contest, the host Rochelle Zell Jewish Tigers basketball team scored a close 56-53 triumph over the Elmwood Park Tigers.
The Tigers (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Northtown (Chicago, IL). The Pumas go into the Chicago Prep contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Northtown nipped Roycemore (Evanston, IL), 73-27, in a non-league contest.
The Tigers now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Round Lake for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 4. Elmwood Park will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 66-29 non-league loss to Richmond-Burton (Richmond, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 0-2.
