December 2, 2024: West Memphis, AR 72301 West Memphis Christian Black Knights (West Memphis, AR) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Lee Academy Cougars (Marianna, AR), 63-23 in a non-league match.
With the victory, West Memphis Christian upgrades its record to 5-1 on the year. The Black Knights travel to Strayhorn (Sarah, MS) to face the Mustangs in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 3. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 0-3. Strayhorn lost 77-26 in their recent non-league match against Independence (Independence, MS)
The Cougars now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maumelle Charter for a non-league match on Thursday, December 5. Lee Academy will face a Falcons squad coming off a 56-45 non-league loss to DeWitt (DeWitt, AR). The Falcons record now stands at 5-9.
