California High School Soccer - University City nudges La Costa Canyon

Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the University City Centurions (San Diego, CA) and the visiting La Costa Canyon Mavericks (Carlsbad, CA), saw University City's soccer squad hold off La Costa Canyon by a score of 3-2.

The Centurions (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Montgomery (San Diego, CA). The Aztecs enter the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
