The Pisgah Dragons basketball squad (Sandhill, MS), was nudged 49-43 in Tuesday's non-league match with the host Lake Hornets (Lake, MS)

With the victory, Lake advances its record to 1-3 on the year. The Hornets host Newton County (Decatur, MS) to meet the Cougars in a non-league match on Friday, December 5. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 2-3. Newton County won 75-32 in their recent non-league match against Kemper County (DeKalb, MS)

The Dragons now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pelahatchie for a non-league match on Thursday, December 4. Pisgah will meet a Chiefs squad coming off a 64-50 non-league loss to Meridian (Meridian, MS). The Chiefs record now stands at 2-6.
