In Tuesday's non-league test, the Mendon Hornets (Mendon, MI) basketball squad knocked off the host Union City Chargers (Union City, MI), by a score of 74-62.

Next, the Hornets encounter the Colon Magi (Colon, MI) in a Southern Central - West test, on Friday, December 5. Mendon will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.
