December 2, 2025: Algona, IA 50511 The Algona Bulldogs basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting Mason City Mohawks to 20 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Tuesday.
Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets (Iowa Falls, IA) in a North Central outing, on Friday, December 5. Algona will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Cadets enter the outing with a 1-1 record after their 53-31 non-league win over South Hamilton (Jewell, IA).
The Mohawks (0-3) will now prepare for their outing against Hoover (Des Moines, IA). The Huskies enter the non-league outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Hoover was overwhelmed by Perry (Perry, IA), 45-34, in a non-league game.
