Georgia High School Basketball - Athens Christian crushes Riverside Military Academy
December 3, 2021: Athens, GA 30601 Athens Christian Eagles (Athens, GA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Riverside Military Academy Eagles (Gainesville, GA), 55-20 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Athens Christian upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Curtis Baptist (Augusta, GA) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 4. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Curtis Baptist lost 64-41 in their recent non-league bout against Edmund Burke Academy (Waynesboro, GA)
Next up, the Eagles play the Loganville Christian Academy Lions (Loganville, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 4. Riverside Military Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 62-56 non-league loss to Monsignor Donovan Catholic (Athens, GA).
