Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA) and the visiting Centennial Golden Hawks (Bakersfield, CA), saw Taft's basketball squad hold off Centennial by a tally of 52-50.

With the victory, Taft improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Toreadors travel to Santa Clarita Christian (Canyon Country, CA) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 4. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Santa Clarita Christian won 77-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Palisades (Pacific Palisades, CA)

Next up, the Golden Hawks confront the Palisades Dolphins (Pacific Palisades, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 4. Centennial will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record.
