New York High School Basketball - Depew overwhelmed by Lancaster
December 3, 2021: Depew, NY 14043 The Lancaster Legends basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host Depew Wildcats to 24 in the Legends non-league victory on Friday.
The Legends now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Amherst Central for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 8. Lancaster will battle a Tigers team coming off a 75-32 non-league win over East (Buffalo, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 1-0.
The Wildcats (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Starpoint (Lockport, NY). The Spartans come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Starpoint was routed by Olmsted (Buffalo, NY), 48-46, in a non-league contest.
