Texas High School Basketball - Port Isabel knocked off by Hanna
December 3, 2021: Brownsville, TX 78520 The Hanna Golden Eagles basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Port Isabel Tarpons to 55 in the Golden Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Economedes for a non-league contest on Friday, December 3. Hanna will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 94-23 non-league win over Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest (Pharr, TX). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-5.
With the defeat, Port Isabel moves to 0-4 on the year. The Tarpons travel to Rivera (Brownsville, TX) to face the Raiders in a non-league game on Friday, December 3. The Raiders enter the game with a record of 5-2. Rivera won 57-38 in their recent non-league game against Mission Veterans Memorial (Mission, TX)
