December 3, 2021: San Antonio, TX 78238 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Kingwood Mustangs (Kingwood, TX) and the host Holmes Huskies (San Antonio, TX), saw Kingwood's basketball squad wallop Holmes by a tally of 49-23.
With the victory, Kingwood improves its record to 5-8 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Fort Bend Dulles (Sugar Land, TX) to confront the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 4. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 5-8. Fort Bend Dulles won 63-60 in their recent non-league challenge against Medina Valley (Castroville, TX)
Next up, the Huskies confront the Taft Raiders (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 29 challenge, on Tuesday, December 7. Holmes will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 63-59 non-league loss to Coronado (Lubbock, TX).
