The Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Alief Taylor Lions to 36 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Manvel for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 4. Fort Bend Austin will battle a Mavericks team coming off a 66-35 non-league win over Tomball Memorial (Tomball, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 17-2.

The Lions (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Tomball Memorial (Tomball, TX). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, Tomball Memorial was defeated by Manvel (Manvel, TX), 66-35, in a non-league contest.
