In Friday's non-league outing, the Boron Bobcats (Boron, CA) basketball squad felled the visiting Desert Scorpions (Edwards AFB, CA), by a margin of 51-34.

The Bobcats (5-0) will now prepare for their outing against California City (California City, CA). The Ravens go into the non-league outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, California City thwarted Trona (Trona, CA), 35-31, in a non-league outing.
