Texas High School Basketball - Celeste nips Miller Grove
December 3, 2021: Celeste, TX 75423 Celeste Blue Devils (Celeste, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Miller Grove Hornets (Cumby, TX), 25-24 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Celeste upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Blue Devils host Cumby (Cumby, TX) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 4. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Cumby won 65-28 in their recent non-league bout against Rivercrest (Bogata, TX)
Next up, the Hornets play the Rivercrest Rebels (Bogata, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 4. Miller Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 65-28 non-league loss to Cumby (Cumby, TX).
