Texas High School Basketball - Industrial overwhelmed by Franklin
December 3, 2021: Franklin, TX 77856 The Franklin Lions basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Industrial Cobras to 25 in the Lions non-league victory on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Schulenburg for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 4. Franklin will battle a Shorthorns team coming off a 52-23 non-league loss to Columbus (Columbus, TX). The Shorthorns record now stands at 6-2.
The Cobras (11-5) will now prepare for their contest against Weimar (Weimar, TX). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Weimar triumphed over Non Varsity Tournament Opponent (, ), 50-27, in a non-league contest.
